Steve Neal - BTCC racer and hugely successful Team Owner - has sadly passed away. Steve was a talented racing driver during the 1960s - most famously known for racing Minis - and took an overall BTCC win at Crystal Palace back in 1968. He is arguably better known, however, as the co-owner and team boss of multiple BTCC champions Team Dynamics.

The team, which is based in Pershore, Worcestershire, was founded by former BSCC driver Steve Neal and active driver Ray Bellm as Rimstock Racing in 1991. In 1993, following Vic Lee Motorsport's liquidation after owner Vic Lee's drug scandal, the assets of the team were taken over by Steve Neal and Ray Bellm.

Eventually Neal moved into sedans and became one of the renowned representatives of Minis - ironically one of the greatest drivers shone in the smallest of cars. Driving for the works Cooper team in 1968, Neal took an overall victory in the British Saloon Car Championship (the forerunner of the BTCC) at Crystal Palace, where, due to the short circuit, the smaller classes were separated major.
